The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel
This book is about a journalist’s personal investigation of the evidence for Jesus. The book is out to answer the question, “Is there credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God?”. The author, Lee Strobel, was a former legal editor for the Chicago Tribune. He has a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Studies in Law degree from Yale Law School. He is also what I would call a acclaimed author. At the beginning of the book, there are quotes of reviews from people who I believe have read this book. One of them stood out to me.
“Nobody knows how to sift truth from fiction like an experienced reporter, or to argue a case like someone trained at Yale Law School. Lee Strobel brings both qualifications to this remarkable book. In addition to his own tremendous testimony as aethiest-turned-Christian, the author marshals the irrefutable depositions of recognized “expert witnesses” to build his ironclad case for Jesus Christ. I agree that The Case for Christ sets a new standard among contemporary apologetics.”

I think he pointed out really good and logical points.
Strobel interviews 13 well-qualified scholars and asks them questions that a good aetheist would if given the chance.
I am going to try to read this whole book. My goal is to be able to answer most of the questions in the book about the evidence of Jesus off the top of my head, but of course, in order to do that, I first have to be convinced that the “evidence” is actual evidence, if you know what I mean. I don’t want to finish this book and have someone ask me a question and reply by saying, “Um, I know the answer to this question. I read it in a book. I just can’t explain it. The author can explain it to you.”. I hate that. As for now, I am tired, so I am going to try to get some sleep. Hopefully my lazy ass will start reading tommorow.
